Brian Lara founded this firm with a clear mission: to give injured New Jersey residents the aggressive, personal legal representation they deserve. Raised in Red Bank, he has deep ties to the communities he serves and a genuine investment in the outcomes of every case that walks through his door.

Mr. Lara has spent years going head-to-head with insurance companies and corporate defense teams. His approach combines exhaustive preparation with relentless advocacy — and when a case calls for it, he's ready and willing to take it to trial. He handles personal injury, workers' compensation, and civil litigation matters across Central and Northern New Jersey.

A member of the National Appellate Moot Court Team during law school, Mr. Lara has continued to sharpen his advocacy skills through speaking engagements with the New Jersey Association for Justice, where he has presented on Section 40 liens and auto insurance litigation.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, Anthony Brown has called the Garden State home his entire life. A lifelong New Jerseyan, he brings decades of courtroom experience and an insider's understanding of how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims.

After earning a B.S. in Aviation Technology with a minor in Computer Science from Thomas Edison State College, Mr. Brown attended Rutgers School of Law–Camden as a Clyde C. Ferguson Scholarship recipient. He completed a Judicial Clerkship under Judge Glenn A. Grant, the current Acting Administrative Director of the New Jersey Courts.

Mr. Brown spent more than 14 years as In-House Trial Counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance, litigating personal injury, no-fault, premises liability, and workers' compensation cases. That experience gave him an invaluable perspective on how the other side thinks — knowledge he now uses exclusively to advocate for injured workers and accident victims.

Rebecca Lara oversees the day-to-day operations of Lara Law, ensuring that every client receives organized, attentive, and responsive legal service from intake through resolution. Her role bridges the gap between the firm's legal work and the business infrastructure that supports it.

Before joining Lara Law, Ms. Lara served as Head of Tax and Finance at Orca, a decentralized exchange on the Solana blockchain, where she built and managed the tax and financial operations for a rapidly scaling Web3 company. Prior to Orca, she was a Director at Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, a leading global professional services firm, where she specialized in international tax advisory for corporate clients. That combined experience — working at the intersection of law, business strategy, emerging technology, and complex regulatory environments — gave her a perspective that few attorneys in a personal injury practice bring to the table.

Ms. Lara holds a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, and an LL.M. in European Union Business Law from Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands. She earned her B.A. in English and Political Science from Hanover College.
